Our Mission at Nature Nurture Sussex is to get children and their families out and enjoying all that nature, and specifically woodlands, have to offer. We believe spending lots of time in the woods is good for our mental and physical well being and we are not the only ones.
Here, we have gathered together information on other groups and organisations who have a similar mission to us. Wherever possible, we aim to work in partnership with others to further our mutual goals and aspirations.
First and foremost is a new venture that has been born from all the hard work that Suzanne put into Nature Nurture Sussex and has now grown into a totally separate entity but still shares the same goals:
The first Forest Kindergarten in Mid Sussex, Treehoppers opened its invisible doors this October and is located at the East Grinstead site also used for events by Nature Nurture Sussex. At Treehoppers, children will be able to spend whole days outside in the woods, exploring, learning and having lots of fun with their friends.
In addition, Treehoppers will be taking over the running of what was our East Grinstead Little Critters group. Although it will have its own snazzy name, it will provide the same regular opportunities for toddlers and pre-schoolers to get out and about in the woods with their parents and carers. We are so excited for Suzanne and her team.
