Location and Meeting Point

Our site in East Grinstead is located at the back of East Grinstead Sports Club.  Please park at the far end of the car park and meet us at the ‘Emergency Access’ gate on the right.  Once everyone has arrived, will walk together through the woodland to the site.


Late Arrivals

 If you arrive late and the group has departed, you can find us by walking through the gate and following the concrete path down the hill.  You will see the Forest School Leaders cars parked at the bottom.  Once you reach the cars take the path on the left into the woodland.  Follow the path until you see the camp on the right-hand side.


‘Wild Wees’ are permitted on site and we will provide hand washing facilities.  Toilets are available inside the Sports Club.

Turners Hill

Location and Meeting Point

Once in Back Lane look for the Nature Nurture Sussex signs on the side of the road signifying the entrance to the site.  The car park is located just inside the gate on one side of a grassy field.  You will be able to see the camp on the other side of the field.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late you will be able to see us in the camp.  The group might have gone for a walk in the woodland, but one of the leaders will remain in camp until everyone has arrived.

Toilets and hand washing facilities are available inside the huts adjacent to the car park.

Burgess Hill

Bedelands Nature Reserve, Burgess Hill, RH15 9AS


Location and Meeting Point

The site is located on the northern edge of Burgess Hill and you can park by the playing fields next to Burgess Hill Town Football Club off Maple Drive.  Meet us on the playing field and once everyone has arrived we will walk through the woods into camp.


Late Arrivals

If you arrive late you will need to walk to the stile at the bottom of the field to enter the woods.  Follow the path other the bridge.  When the path forks take the right path stay on this path until you reach camp (you have to walk through a muddy ditch or alternatively loop right around the oak tree.


There are no facilities at the site, but ‘wild wees’ are permitted and hand washing facilities will be provided.
